Aquawest designed and installed a 3.0 kw s phase submersible pump to deliver approx. 90,000 litres per day through 20 km of polythene pipeline – tank and troughs.

The pump system comprised a Grundfos 3 kw 3 phase stainless steel pump installed in Barwon River, with 20 x 275 watt solar modules. The unit was designed to run as a variable speed pump set to match system requirements and the pump will deliver up to 14,000 litres per hour at 500kpa. The pump will vary in output as pipeline demand decreases and the system can be connected to a 3 phase generator for back up if required.
