To kick off 2022, Aquawest Tamworth was engaged to deliver a custom-designed irrigation system for a client just outside Tamworth, supporting the future growth of a lucerne crop.
The centrepiece of the project was a Reinke four-span pivot irrigator, installed to ensure efficient, large-scale water distribution across the property. Water is sourced from a fully upgraded pump site, which includes a new Southern Cross pump, automated control system, and a winch rail setup that allows the pump to be safely lifted during flood events.
To service smaller areas along the river frontage, we also installed a Bauer T41 hard hose irrigator, delivering versatile coverage for irregular paddock zones.
As part of our commitment to ongoing support, Aquawest provided a complimentary annual service on the client’s new Reinke pivot — reinforcing our dedication to quality and long-term performance.
